SQ11 goes up again 2km from touchdown

Singapore Airlines flight SQ11 was about to land at changi airport when the pilot told passengers he had to take the plane up because there was another aircraft still on the runway. i felt that it was the right thing to do as at no time was safety compromised. This is a good practice as it ensured many hundreds of passengers' safety. This is the most basic thing that a pilot should do. I hope many more of such pilots will show such potential.
