Foreign drivers get away Scot-free in accidents
Home THE STRAITS TIMES June 24, 2006 Saturday
Many calls and letters have been sent to the traffic police and even the government on the problem of foreign drivers. I feel that its the minority foreign drivers who tarnished the reputation. All these drivers mainly drive big vehicles hence it tends to be more hazardous. Moreover I feel that these drivers bring in their hometown driving skill to Singapore hence they thought they could drive as freely as they are back home. However I feel that they ought to change their mindset, afterall they are in a foreign country. I feel that if nothing is going to be done to this matter, its only a matter of time that more people will get killed.
