High oil prices slow demand

I feel that this is going to happen. From what we all know, oil is not a replaceable resource as it takes million of years to form from organic bodies. Yet human have been using it as though it is some replaceable resources. Take brunei for an example, they possess so much oil that they used oil like water. Now the amount of oil barrels being sold a day has dropped in many countries as many can't afford it anymore. I feel that its such a pity that countries now are trying to scrimp and save the remaining oil that is left on this earth. I feel that expertise should have tried warning countries about the limited amount of oil instead of trying to exaggerate the amount left on this earth...
